Workshop Venue
The workshop will be held at Lancaster University, Lancaster, UK.
The actual workshop will take place at Barkers House Farm at the southern end of the University campus. The reception on June 1 will take place at Infolab21. Both buildings are indicated on this campus map as numbers 54 and 51, respectively.

Lancaster House Hotel is situated right next to the University, and is few minutes walk from all the facilities on campus. They are holding 10 rooms only, until the 15 th May 2006, on a first come first served basis, so early booking is essential.

Travel to Lancaster
The historic city of Lancaster is just 10 minutes by bus from the University (3 miles). It is a friendly bustling city which has all the amenities of a large city without having lost its charm and character.
There are numerous sites of interest including: Lancaster Castle, Lancaster Priory, Roman Bath House, Music Room, Church of St John the Evangelist, Judges Lodgings, City Museum and Maritime Museum.
One of the most striking features of the area are the spectacular mountains of the Lake District which form an impressive backdrop looking north over Lancaster and Morecambe Bay. Morecambe and the beautiful historical village of Heysham is only 20 minutes away from Lancaster, attractions include: Sunderland Point, The Port of Heysham (with regular sailing to the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland), St Patrick’s Chapel (750 AD), Parish Church of St Peter, and Rock Hewn Graves.
